Description
The ultimate tool for multi-directional footwork drills. An adjustable belt fits around each athletes waist, with an 8’ extension in between each athlete. The two belts are connected by velcro in the middle. The goal of the lead runner is to gain a step on the trail runner and break the velcro connection. The goal of the trail runner is to read and react to the lead runners change in speed and direction, to stay close and not let the velcro connection break. There are lot’s of exciting partner drills that can be performed with the reaction belt, both indoors and outdoors. Face to face shadowing drills build lateral movement efficiency, multi-direction ability, stopping strength, and reaction skills. Follow the leader chase drills teach deceptive changes of speed used for one-on-one tactics and to practice tight turns.
